Eve No.2 is an articulated, ball-jointed doll sculpture whose nude form and serpentine hair reflect the artist’s vision of the first woman reimagined through a speculative lens. Borne out of digital sculpting and 3D printing, she emerges in a reimagined Garden of Eden as both muse and machine. She is an echo of creation rewritten through technology. Depicted as a Black woman, Eve replays the origin story in a distant, alternate timeline, merging the boundaries between myth and future.  In the tradition of doll-makers, “Eve” holds sacred meaning as the tender name given to one’s first transformative work and most beloved sculpt.
